Hi My Vista laptop just tried to start and comes to a screen that hangs saying Yoo Yoo ( the o's are infinity symbols though. Tried fmbr and everything I can think of. I do not want to redo partition.

A search of the web shows a lot of people have this problem but no solutions as of yet.

NTFS partition and whatever did this did something to the partition. I can boot to portable mini xp and see the drive.

Ideas Anyone?

Yeah, did not think anyone knew what this is. It can't be a virus. I think it is junk in the partition information. I was going to try to dplicate it by junking up another drive partition table info. first i am just now resizing partition to see if that works. No one on the web seems to know. but to ref i saw that said it worked was point mdr to standard (did not work for me), and to resize partition. I will post results.

Well that did not work.

Resized both partitions by a tad to make sre size was right.

Abyway i will pull drive and put a new one in, then play with it till i find the culprit.
