Hi all.

I have a little problem with my Win7 Home (all updates) laptop.

When I right click "Computer" and then select "Manage" which should open "Computer Management", I get an error box (attached).

I can still open Computer Management from Administrative Tools.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, Broni.

Unfortunately, that did not fix the issue.

Same site, but try this fix

http://www.winhelponline.com/fileasso/lnk_fix_w7.zip

Unzip the file and extract the .REG file to Desktop.

Right-click the REG file and choose Merge.

Strange...when I run it in the "Search Programs and Files"(I get...no items match your search). When I open "Run" and enter the same thing...it OPENS "Computer Management" box (correct option).

This is very very strange!!! I am not a pro...but I do know my way around Windows...and this is very very strange!!!
