My antivirus software on my computer is Microsoft Security Essentials, I recently tried updating it but before the update finished downloading it would come up with a series of error messages. As a result I decided to uninstall the current software, I re-downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials, installed it but when the program tries to update it gets about 3/4 of the way through the download and then an error message appears telling me that I am not connected to the internet, even though I know that the internet connection is still active. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
