I've been using my iTouch without problems for three years, but suddenly iTunes tells me that if I sync my audiobooks it will remove everything else from the device. I think I just updated to iTunes 10 recently, so that may have something to do with it.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? I've been syncing audiobooks along with my music, photos, etc., all this time so this is a new problem.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

I've been using my iTouch without problems for three years, but suddenly iTunes tells me that if I sync my audiobooks it will remove everything else from the device.

Was that the exact essence of the message? I have had a similar error appear when trying to sync applications however I disregarded the message and everything seemed fine.

I think I just updated to iTunes 10 recently, so that may have something to do with it.

Likewise. Whilst at the iPod tab, ensure that you have it set to sync all possible types of files.

Anyone have any suggestions for me? I've been syncing audiobooks along with my music, photos, etc., all this time so this is a new problem.

Disregard the error. You can re-sync all the other items back if it does delete them off your iPod Touch.

Misaki
