I'm a first time user, "newbie", to this site. I have a quick question, suddenly whenever I open a new tab in Internet Explorer, the tab opens with startsearcher.com. This appears to be some sort of search engine which I absolutely want no part of. Also, simulataneously with this change to my browser, I am having difficulty with the pop-ups that I have allowed. As these pop-ups are part of a rating system we use for some of our business applications.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get rid of this? I subscribe to Norton for my anti-virus program but for some reason whenever I run a detailed scan it comes up empty of spyware, malware or other viruses.

Thank you!
