help with blacklight plz

hello all. im new to this site and very interested in learning to fight malware. i downloaded blacklight from the link in the tut to my desktop and when i open it a red "x" comes up on the screen and it tells me i need admin priv. to run it, but the only win. acct. set up is mine and i believe i have admin rights. the version i downloaded is not the beta as shown in the tut. can someone plz help? by the way this site is awesome...thanks

nevermind. i just learned that blacklight isnt compatible with windows 7(64b). someone plz tell me if this is not true. if it is true, are there any rootkit scanners that are comp with win 7?

Hi degresh,

Sophos anti-rootkit is compatible with 64 bit OSs :)
