Got this message today
Not sure what to think about it

Silverpop Systems, Inc., a leading marketing company that sends email messages for its clients, told us that information was taken from its servers. This was probably part of a sweep by spammers. As a result, email addresses belonging to deviantART members were copied. Corresponding usernames and birth date may also have been removed.

As a member of deviantART, you certainly have a right to know when an incident of this kind occurs.

Did you track the IP and see if it leads you to the legit server from which the email originated?

Martel.. Uh..well..uh..you know..well...I uh..staring at the floor..
Looking around nervously afraid to make eye contact.

sheepishly..No

However, I did compare the message source to my other Deviant Art e-mails and it seems to be all the same.

Also, on another forum many members reported getting kicked off the Deviant Art site and having problems.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
