A month ago I installed a TP-Link TL-WN353G into my Dell desktop computer (a 5150 -- from a few years ago.) Ever since I installed it, my computer has been acting strange, and on a few occasions has popped up with a blue screen of death (Stop 0x0000000A - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). My computer never did this before I installed the wireless adapter, so I'm assuming the problems lie with the recently installed hardware. I've installed the latest drivers available off the TP-Link website, I've done system tests (like booting to the Dell Utility partition), I've started the computer in its Last Good Known Configuration -- I've tried everything.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why it is doing this or how I can stop it?

Has anyone else dealt with a similar problem?

My computer is a Dell Dimension 5150 with Windows XP SP3.

I take it that you didn't like the advice that was given to you at Tom's Hardware?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I did, I told him I was going to do it when I get home. I posted them both at the same time -- I just wanted to see if I would get different responses, or if maybe someone on this forum would say something else.

Was that a bad idea?

The advice is good, I would suggest trying it.

I replied to the post at Toms Hardware, but no one is replying, so I was wondering if maybe you could help me out with this.

He mentioned that there might be an IRQ conflict, and I'm seeing a few of them -- but I'm wondering if they're actually conflicts..
