Firefox - The Book of Mozilla
Just type about:config in the address bar and read the message.

All that does is open the configuration files.
To get the "Book of Mozilla" entry, you need to type about:mozilla in the address bar.

It used to be my sig, so I knew where it was located. :)
As far as about:config, I'm constantly playing around with the configuration files, so I knew what about:config was used for.

Here's a few more about: entries, for anyone interested:

about:cache - memory, and disk, cache information

Apparently the notepad one is bug in notepad when it opens and tries to determine the encoding. It mixes Ascii and Unicode up resulting in the boxes  . But these are all pretty funny. Have you seen the office '97 easter eggs, like pinball in word?

Windows XP Easter Egg - Bush Reference?
1. Open Notepad.
2. Type bush hid the facts.
3. Save it with any name.
4. Open it again. You will see several boxes.

This is a bug, not an Easter Egg. It works on any sequence of words with the letter count of 4 3 3 5. Try "Bill Ate The Candy" "This app can break" or even "abcd efg hij klmno" Same result. It's a result of Notepad fudging up the conversion from ANSI to Unicode. If you save the text file as Unicode rather than ANSI, the bug disappears. Also, if you have support for characters in East Asian languages installed in Windows, you'll see Chinese characters instead of boxes.
