If I start my computer and do not open any browsers, I don't seem to have any issues. However, when I open Firefox, Internet Explorer will appear briefly in the task bar and then close. From that point on, IE will spontaneously open to various websites, and clicking on any google search links will redirect me to a different website. I will occasionally get the Wal-Mart gift certificate notification that others on the forum seem to be getting as well. I've run updated versions of MBAM, spybot, and McAffee virus scan, and all are showing up clean. Attempts to update java result in an error message that says "Failed to Download Required Installation Files".

Thanks in advance for your help.

I do not accept personal donations for assistance provided. I would ask that you instead consider donating the greatest gift - Organ Donation. Your organs are of no use to you when your gone. You will save a life that would otherwise be lost!
