Hey guys, I downloaded and opened an executable file from a website and it installed a fake antivirus on my computer. I then system restored it manually with my own date because it prevented me otherwise, but I am still having problems.I cannot play certain videogames, and have adware sounds and pop ups on the internet and off the internet. 20 mins in, or leaving my computer idle, i then cannot open any programs or shut it down. I tried the combo fix from the site but that didn't work. Help would be greatly appreciated!!

P.S. running windows XP, would rather not reformat it!
