im thinking about purchasing a new laptop but dont know what would be considered a "good" deal in terms of its specs. after much browsing however, ive found one im interested in. it has these specs & its on sale for 533.00

• Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
• Intel® Core™ i3-370M Processor (2.40 GHz, 3MB L3 Cache) + Intel® HD Graphics
• 4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)

so yeah. any reccomendations or advice would be greatly appreciated

what brand is it? spec wise it looks like a good deal-but one has to wonder about quality.

I believe this is a HP model, in the specs it says "15.6" diagonal High Definition HP LED Brightview Display (1366x768)"

Is that US$ or Aus$ or GB£ or Euro or some other currency?

I didnt see the hp in the screen description, so that limits it to HP or compaq. So ya, I would say pretty good deal if its in US dollars. In euros, probably about average price, dont know about Australian currency. . .

For $533 in australian currency for this kind of specs is really cheap and good bargain!

well i wasnt going to name the model because a few weeks ago i posted a similar question about another laptop i was planning on buying from a site & it was sold out the next day. so im pretty sure posting about it had something to do with it. but yeah it is anHP and its US$, sorry about that. anywho, ive been thinking about it & decided that maybe the 15.6" screen is much too big so im going to look for something smaller. thanks anyways.
