Hello - Windows Vista laptop here. He came to me today saying he keeps getting a Norton virus pop-up.....we use McAfee. It was a fake alert, I had the same issue before on my pc and with help from this site cleaned it up. I downloaded and ran Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware and found 4 items. I have the log if it will help. Removed those items; however, it seems Mcafee will not start back up and I just want to ensure I got all the nasties off this thing. Thanks for the help!

Edit - Is my pc infected should be the subject.
