my pc will start as normal up to the windows splash screen then reboots, can get to the safe mode but it does the same thing,( tried all the variations safe mode, same result) its just like if i hit the reset button. this started happening after removing THINKPOINT, i ran malwarebytes antimalware by installing the infected HD in a second computer as slave drive. still just wants to cycle on off on.

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

Are you still having the cycling? That's typically from an antivirus removing a critical registry entry or file that was infected by malware.

If you do have the cycling, do you have access to a working computer and have a USB flash drive you can dedicate to this for a few days?
