Hello,

I got a modem from ISP which has one port for network cable. How can I connect 2 PC's (both have network cards) to the modem so both can have internet connectiong and share files between them? What else do I need (equipment, cables)?

Thanks in advance.

You would need wither a switch or router and 3 ethernet cables.

The above links are provided as examples only.

Thanks for your reply.
Are all 3 cables the same as the one I got from the ISP, which connects modem to a PC?

Should be the same. Length may vary according to need. You will want a standard RJ45 ethernet cable. Othewise known as cat 5.
Again the length will be decided by your PC\router or switch\modem placement.
