Is there a product I can buy that allows me to have a mirrored external network hard drive? (hence, 2 hard drives mirrored in RAID 1 that stand alone and can be accessed through the network)

I assume that these don't come with Hard Drives?

With a little more clicking you would have found this. Then if you look at the left column you would find the heading Included HDD Capacity. Under that you will find several different choices of capacity devices. Hard drives included.

What you are looking for is NAS or Network Accessible Storage w\Raid 1.

There are many out there to choose from. Quality ones are not cheap.

Thanks for the help...

NAS is definitely what I need. I'd like to get at least 2TB on a RAID 1. I don't wanna spend a crazy amount of money, but I would like to get a decent one.

I found this:

http://www.netgear.com/business/products/storage/readyNAS-profam/RNDP2210.aspx

I can't really find any reviews for it. Would you happen to know of any other brands/models that I could look at that support 2 TB on a RAID 1?

You can try Buffalo Technology, Iomega Corp, LaCie, Cisco Small Business, Seagate, VERBATIM, Western Digital to name a few.

I do not know who offers 2TB Raid and who does`t. Nor any idea on prices. But I`m guessing you are looking at $500+.
