Sound Card

I can not play a DVD or when I get a e-mail to play I cannot play, comes up that I don't have a sound card, How did I loose a sound card, and how do you replace a sound card,

You could have had a hardware failure but you may just have a virus or some other malware. Do you have an antivirus and antispyware?

Buy a new card. Let's try not to spend any money ... unless you just have to. Have you gone into the device manager and see if your audio card is present? If it is does it have a "!" inside a yellow triangle?
Do you have any antivirus or antispyware on your computer? If youdon't have a antivirus or it is out of date (over 1 month old or subscription expired) try one of the following. You can and should at least the antispyware I have listed.
These are the basic protection you should have on your computer. I will list quite a few more. The only thig you should run only one of is the Antivirus and the firewall.
