Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic13.VSN??

1) Was doing research... led me to this weird site. Couldn't get out of site. Knew something was up immediately...
2) Went to System Restore. That failed.
3) Running AVG. Usually catches everything, but not this thing. Something called Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic13.VSN keeps showing up but it won't take care of it...
4) Now computer will not start any new programs. Says "application cannot be executed"...everything from calculator to photoshop. Not even task manager...
5) Fake antivirus programs keep wanting to start. Firefox keeps changing the links and sites I click on, and window explorer is popping up to porno sites by itself...(never use IE. ever)
6) Tried to get Malware Bytes... Cannot run that new download...
7) UPDATE: restarted in safe mode, but still having problems...
