I have a user that has Office 2003 Basic and I need to add PowerPoint 2003. Can I use the Upgrade version of PowerPoint 2003 or do I need to buy the "full" version of PowerPoint 2003? We are running Windows XP, SP3.

If you just need a PowerPoint viewer, Microsoft has one available for free here

I would think that the upgrade would look for an existing version, not find one, and therefore not install
This artice should help
In the beginning there was the command line.
