I have been using the Antivirus Action removal guide. After running the Perm-hosts.bat, I go to Windows\system32\drivers\etc and I can't see the hosts file. There are 4 other files there; lmhosts.sam, networks. protocol and sevices. If I right click on the link for the new hosts and save target as and click save, it brings up a window saying hosts already exists, do I want to replace it? The file must be hidden because I can't see it. Can I just overwrite or do I have to see it and delete it ?
Any help would be much appreciated. Also I am running Vista. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I'll give that a try.
