I'm still looking for an optical media burning program for mac os x that fits my backup needs. Those programs which mention multisession capability only refer to multisession cds - I need to burn multisession dvds.

According to a an Oct 2008 Roxio support article "The Mac OS does not display multiple DVD sessions correctly data from sessions is not accessible. As such, Toast does not allow burning multi-session DVDS." According to my mac books, mac can natively burn multisession dvds when using disk utility to burn disk images to dvd [so I assume it can read those], but there's no multisession option for using burn folders or dragging to a mounted dvd.

Does mac os x still have a problem w/ reading multisession dvds?
