Greetings,
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, (newbie!)I was unable to post in what seemed the most logical forum.
I have a friend who is running WIN ME and has had trouble with the system being unstable. I helped him with a few scans and found a Trojan Downloader identified by the latest version of Adaware as Con Hook. the root file is in the Windows System folder and is labeled vstqo.dll. I am new to most of this and I did a few searches but could not find much specific information. I would appreciate any info you could provide
on con hook. Thank you all very much. Spyhunter
P.S. I find your site most informative and helpful

spyhunter27:

Conhook info

You could post a HiJackthis log in our HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum.
Before you do, please read and follow the instructions in the Preparation Guide for use before posting a HijackThis Log

Please be patient while a member of the HJT team has a chance to look at your log.

It may take several attempts until your log is clean.

Good-luck.

JC
