Alright, I'm looking at the N61 series of laptops on Amazon, and there's an insane amount of variation amongst them, for example, N61JQ-b1, N61JQ-XV1 and so on. I was wondering if anyone knew the differences between them? I'm currently using an N61JQ-XV1. Due to an issue with a noise this makes I've received a refund from Amazon and I plan on purchasing a different model if I can find something in my budget.

So what I'm asking is:

1. What's the differences between all of those N61 laptops?
2. Is there anything better out there that meets my budget? (It HAS to be on Amazon, as I will be paying with a store card).

And now for the template:

My budget for the new computer is:
----------No more than $1100

What are the primary uses for this computer (IE: mail, web browsing, programming, games, etc)?
----------All of the above minus programming lol.

What software do you intend on using on the computer?
----------Usual stuff, Internet Browsers, Word Processing Programs. Also UDK, some encoding and games.
Do you play games? If so, what type of games?
----------Love first person shooters, also some WoW once in a while. More power the better.

Do you tend to have a lot of programs running at the same time, or do you close every program when you are done using it?
----------Multitasking is my friend. It's fun to be disorganized and have 73,000 things open lol.
Do you store a lot of pictures or music on the computer?
---------------Yes

btw, the current GPU in this laptop is a Radeon HD 5730. It's a pretty good card, and I don't want to settle for anything less. If anything, I'd buy something with a better GPU. A small issue I had with this is the low resolution. it's 1366x768. Kinda low.

Anyway, big thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to go through this for me.
