Hi BC, I would like to try out MBAM however my update isn't working. I get a MBAM_ERROR_UPDATING (12007,0,WinHttpSendRequest)

I did some research and one thread suggest that I allow Windows Firewall to accept some MBAM. I did that but still cannot update.

Try manually downloading the updates them from here and then just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install. Then run a quick scan with Malwarebytes and post the log.

Ever since 10-14-2010, that manual update doesn't not work. Is there another way?

On that page click where it says Download MBAM-Rules (Manual Database Installer).

Resolved.

I had an older MBAM file. This new Mbam at the website is just a few days old and works with the updates.

Thanks buda
