First let me say, what a great resource this board is and thanks for the helpers!

My father in law brought me his laptop after a fake antivirus suite installed itself onto his system and woudlnt let him do anything. It totally disabled his system so he couldnt launch a web browser, couldnt use CTRL+ALT+DELETE, etc. After trying a few anti malware/virus malwarebytes was able to remove it.

The combination of anti virus/malware software I installed was able to find all kinds of stuff on the system, however there is at least 1 left, a link redirecter. When you search for something in google, and click on any results it brings you to random sites. All programs (avast, Spybot, malwarebytes, avira, ESS) are coming up clean.

I tried the Kapersky Rootkit remover but it didnt find anything.

Here is my log
