Hi, I am working as a publishing professional and am currently using Gateway's P-IV with 2.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM, but usually it gets stuck while I am working. Can you please suggest me which new computers will suit my needs, as I am using heavy software?

Installing max RAM for the system...would probably wipe out the idea of getting a new system, IMO.

Gateway P4s with a 2.2Ghz CPU seem to have a mzx of 2GBs RAM.

I would look up the specs for that system at the Gateway site, just to be sure.

Yeah Luis, perhaps you're right. Please do check and let me know if this system is better than intel's original one or not? so that I can change or keep it. Many thanks for your advice.
