Additionally, Sunbelt will continue Kerio’s tradition of providing a basic free version for home users.

With Symantec buying out Sygate, and discontinuing it, free firewall options were getting pretty thin.

That's good news, because Kerio was going to discontinue it's free firewall on December 31, 2005.
With Sunbelt continuing to offer the free version, that's one free one, that won't be lost.
