Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. My laptop got the dreaded antivirus 8 virus a couple of weeks ago, and I managed to remove it. But I am still having some very annoying after effects, particularly all my internet browsers constantly re-directing.
I have used MalwareBytes and removed all infected objects, but the problem still persists. My laptop is also running slower than normal and it often shuts itself down then reboots with a blue screen error message.
I'm not a PC whizz, so I have done my best so far!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Rachel

Please download TDSSKiller.zip
  • Extract it to your desktop
  • Double click TDSSKiller.exe
  • Press Start Scan
    • Only if Malicious objects are found then ensure Cure is selected
If suspicious objects are found select skip
    • Then click Continue > Reboot now
  • Copy and paste the log in your next reply
    • A copy of the log will be saved automatically to the root of the drive (typically C:\)
