i dont like the term veteran, since it can imply being "set in your ways," where the IT field (and more specifically, malware removal) is a constantly changing and dynamic landscape. however, for the past 10 years, i have watched malware evolve from merely graffiti-like vandalism to sophisticated resource and intellectual property theft. as i have researched security, "virus and spyware" behavior, and developed my own methods of "cleaning," i have never come across a community (and it's affiliates) so dedicated to developing advanced methodologies to help users rid themselves of 0-day malicious software while also providing useful resources on IT across many categories. props to BC and community for fighting and not formatting.
i hope to become a positive contributer, and now member, to this community in any area i can. my knowledge and experience are ever-expanding and give me the confidence and motivation to digest resolved and unresolved user issues and hone my skills further amongst this broad arena. i am interested in learning and developing further, the processes and methods of this community and wish to provide a return on what i've learned on my own and from BC in recent years.
