Comrades,

Greetings,

First off, I would like to thank the moderators & the site master(s) for the excellent help provided on this site. Its a tribute to the well-being of PC's around the world against the plague called malware.

And now, my problem. Well, I have read quite a few messages posted here & managed to clean up the serious infection of Spy Sheriff (I think, I've cleaned it up) on my PC. Below is the link I followed mostly for all the steps...

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic22402.html

The steps at the site above were followed thru & thru. And the only problem I encountered was with adding the "smitfraud reg" to my registry. The error I got said something like "unable to complete adding all keys as some are in use by programs/applications."

But, my CPU use in Normal Windows mode is still 100%. So, I think something is still alive and eating my clock cycles. Please, please, help me here.

What have I missed? My Hijak log is below. Thank you again.

Hi there and welcome to Bleeping Computer !

As you may have noticed already, the forums are very busy at the moment and i have noticed your log has gone unanswered so far!

We look at the oldest logs first, and we were wondering that if you still need help, please start by posting a new HijackThis log in this topic and i will then be able to take a look!

Thanks very much :flowers:

David
