I have tried those online test many times, but the answers vary each time I do them quite significantly, so it is hard to know what is right and what is not. Is there any chance of finding the right speed of the connection in some data in computer and more importantly how could i change the wrongly stated speed connection on my computer???

Any ideas anybody...thanks a lot...x

Try a little program from AnalogX called Netstat Live.

a small, easy to use TCP/IP protocol monitor which can be used to see your exact throughput on both incoming and outgoing data - whether you're using a modem, cable modem, DSL, or even local network. Will also graph the CPU usage of your system.
