windows freezes at start up

I restarted my computer one day and then it freezes part way through the loading of the desktop. It loads the icons and the task bar (although the task bar is not the normal blue, but looks like it does when started in safe mode). Then it just freezes and acts like it keeps loading. I ran avg in safemode and it said I had a trojan.agent.r_Xl, however after running hijackthis and deleting a file the trojan is gone now, but still same problem. Here is my hijackthis log, anyone see anything that might be causing the problem?

I ran into some nasty malware or viruses a couple days ago. The computer started running very slow and then my desktop would come up with background only, no task bar or icons. Usually have to start in safemode but am able to get into the normal every once in a while. When I get on my browser, and click on a link in google or sometimes even when I type in a web address I am redirected to random sites, which I believe then infect my computer with more viruses. I have run SuperAntiSpyware, AVG, Ad-Aware, Emisoft Anti-Adware, Spybot S&D, Hitman Pro, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, RKill, TDSS Killer...everything I could think of. The programs have found some trojans, some malware, and remove them, however, I have a feeling the main virus that is causing the other problems is still there. I am pretty sure it is the redirect virus. Am I right? I would like to use ComboFix if possible, but would like someone's help to analyze it for me. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! I am running Windows XP SP3 x32bit.

If you have not done so, include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review your topic an do their best to resolve your issues.

If you have already posted a DDS log, please do so again, as your situation may have changed.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

We also need a new log from the GMER anti-rootkit scanner. Please first disable any CD emulation programs using the steps found in this topic:
