How do you catagorize your website pages on google, yahool etc??

This is example of how Toys R Us is catagorized. It has the website link and beneath it are links to different sections of the website

So what the paragraph is saying that

It has algorithms that does the categorizing so it is very important to use best practices. Or something like that..
