Our computer recently got a fake Microsoft Security infection and we removed it using Malwarebytes, but now it has started to shut down every thirty minutes or so and bring up a blue screen that says:

Stop c0000a48
Unknown hard error Unknown hard error

If you could help me resolve the problem it would be greatly appreciated.

No such STOP error number per Google...the "unknown hard error" can be due to malware, among other things.

I'll move this to Am I Infected for a closer look, since you report at least one known malware situation.
