My hard drive died a few weeks ago (probably a boot sector problem) and I've now rebuilt another machine. I was able to copy the IDX, QDF, QEL, and QPH files from the old drive to the new drive. I installed the original Quicken 2007 on the new machine and when I opened Quicken, it looks like the totals are correct, but there is nothing in the registers. Seems like I've lost everything except the latest totals for the accounts that now have no names.

I used both the option to open a file from a specfic location and the restore option with the same results.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Problem has been resolved by using an older version of the backup. Seems it saved a new version each time it was closed. By selecting the previous backup with a 1 on the end of it, the registers were populated correctly.
