I deleted taskman from my registry and want to know how I can restore it. It was under HKEY Local Machine/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/ WinLogon/Taskman. Since it was deleted computer loads to blank desktop. No start button no icons, no taskbar, nothing. I can activate task manager by CTRL+Alt+delete to navigate. I am looking for a way to recreate the taskman value that I deleted. Any suggestions?

Do a system restore to before you deleted it, then reboot when PC asks !
P.S you can do this from " Advanced system user " or safe mode as you may know it by pressing F8 continuosly on boot !

Thanks, I ran a system restore before I posted and there was no change. On a whim I decided to do it again, set to the same restore point, and it worked!!!

Appreciate your help.
