I have 2 Windows XP (old) and a vista (laptop) PC (Just got a 7 machine which may be infected - I'm not up on 7 enough to tell). Made a mistake by trusting a predator. Using skype (I think) he introduced a bug that shows up in NTuser.dat.log for the different users in C:/Documents and Settings.
I've tried deleting it, changing user names, eraser on the empty portion of the HDD. and I found this in the "guest account" :
regf ŒÉéË s a n d S e t t i n g s \ G u e s t \ N t u s e r . d a t wŽ®DIRTÿÀã\ D e v i c e \ H a r d d i s k V o l u m e 1 \ D o c u m e n t s a n d S e t t i n g s \ G u e s t \ N t u s e r . d a t
I do have a second HDD installed, (disk1 in disk management)but a search reveals only these files in disk 0 = C drive.
I have closed the firewall with NO exceptions, but I believe this problem may be permitting the perp to receive sent messages from my computer.
I know I'm not the only one betrayed, and I know the perp who will not admit anything.
Any ideas greatly appreciated. BTW, reinstalling XP on one computer did not help.
