Hi,
My friend asked me to help her with her computer which she experienced someone taking control over, she did complain about it being slow as well so I used the FAQ's for improving the pc performance and ran Comodo antivirus to remove infected files as well as spybotS&D (both normally and on startup) to scan for malware. As it is known that the detection of virtumonde in mfc40.dll is a false positive averything else seems to be alright now but if any of you would have time to check the logs I'd be very grateful (want to double check to make sure that she's happy with the results):
