Hello, and thank you in advance for running a forum like this, and to all who are helping people who've either screwed up, or, in my case, have had family screw up.

A few days ago, my brother attempted to install a game he'd torrented illegally, and got hit with a nasty batch of software. He brought it to me to remove his spyware and malware, which I've done pretty extensively, but he is still experiencing browser hijacking from links he clicks on Google. I've run several programs, using F-Secure, Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes, even AVG. I've got Hijack this installed, but I'm unfamiliar with Windows 7.

The problem, in essence, is that he's ONLY being hijacked when he clicks links after a google search. He can get to them without difficulty by typing the URL into the address bar.

Thank you, again, for the assistance.
