In my system32 folder i have image files named after the buttons i listed "pharmacy dating xxx insurance spyare etc" and also a Idesk.conf file, I've used AdAware, Spybot S&D, TRendMicro and AVG to no avail. Here is my Hijackthis file. I noticed some else on the XP forum had the same problem, I tried that advice and couldn't fix it. I'd appreciate any help, Thanks in advance...........Gary

Hi and  to BleepingComputer!

My name is David Posted Image

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://forums.subratam.org/index.php?act=A...e=post&id=43811
http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, HijackThis will launch. Please click Scan, and check the following items:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{73CDBB87-3753-4867-8792-6A4E93F34793}: NameServer = 85.255.115.51,85.255.112.25
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{7A9BCEEF-70E9-4072-9694-9F2B7FA736E2}: NameServer = 85.255.115.51,85.255.112.25
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{9E97F6D7-D65E-46CF-8EF0-946A4869ADEA}: NameServer = 85.255.115.51,85.255.112.25

Click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis, and click OK to proceed.

At the end of the fix, you may need to restart your computer again.

Finally, please post the contents of the logfile C:\fixwareout\report.txt, along with a new HijackThis log.

David
