spcmdcom virus

dell inspiron 1520 vista op. has virus cannot access safemode through f8 key.task manager won't come up.restart only brings up black screen with message unable to login.basically dead.Can anything be done remotely?Is it possible to download virus removal tool remotely or automatically via portable usb drive

Hi, do you have a Vista DVD at hand or, when tapping F8, do you have the option to access "Repair Windows"?

If so, did you do a Startup Repair?
