It appears that my home PC is severly infected.
On my wifes user profile it just indicates the "Microsoft Security Essentails Alert"
I've tried to follow steps in the removal guide, but am running into problems.
I beleive rkill ran fine, but I can not run mbam.

This thing has completly shut me down to the point where I could not reboot without windows CD.
Would greatly appreciate some assistance.

Thanks in advance.

Dell Dimension 3000 Windows XP home edition.
Since I couldn't get mbam to run, i downloaded SUPERAntiSpyware Free and ran it.
It was sacnning and found dozens of trojans then stopped in the middle of the scan and now I cannot boot the machine back on... Arrgh!
