Hi Lidiaboo,

I am a newbie so my advice is that of a newbie.

Have you looked at soem of the pinned threads on this forum, there is one about slow machines that might help you.

Now the Windows Updates are more of a problem, they really do help keep your machine safe, but there a number of reasons that they don't install.

When you say that your machine is slow, is it all the time, is it a specific program?
