Can't uninstall Pidgen

I installed Pidgin to see if it works with Facebook chat. It diddn't so I exited pidgen and went to control panel. I then clicked pidgen and uninstall and it gave me a popup saying that I need to exit pidgen. The weired thing is, I already exited pidgen. Please help!

Look to see when you close pidgen it's not still running in the system tray like MSN and Yahoo do. I know you said exited but I'm making sure you mean exited and not closed. I have often had users confuse the two.

You could also try uninstalling it in Safe Mode as it runs a limited amount of applications.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
