BSOD (KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR)

I keep getting a reoccurring BSOD prior to all my programs not responding and freezing. Everything suddenly stops and the blue screen appears with the following:

A problem has been deteceted and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR"

Hi lildon012, and welcome to BleepingComputer.

Try running chkdsk /r.

Go to Start, click on Run, and type cmd in the box and then click OK.

A black page will open with a blinking cursor, either copy and paste or type in the chkdsk /r. Do not include the period.
