Can a Dell computer from 2005....

Hello!
So, I lost my windows XP disk long ago...I was curious if it was possible for a Dell computer (We got it around 04 or 05), would be able to use a windows 7 disk?
If there are other factors that would decide that let me know. xD

How do I check all that stuff...
•1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

•1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

•16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

•DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

I see some of it under my computer but not all of it.
I can't use the windows 7 compatability thing cuz it won't install. (Connection issues)

hold down the windows key and press R
that will bring up the run box
then type
msinfo32
and press enter. Happy Thanksgiving

I'm presuming that you have the installation CD and a product code that hasn't been used on another computer?
