I have a Gateway laptop (several years old). My wireless says it is connected to the router but I can't get to the internet. To test it, I connected hardwired and that works fine. I ran ipconfig renew and release and also flushed the dns. None of that worked. I also updated the driver for my wireless adapter. I don't know what to try next. Could it be a network name causing the problem? I also get the same thing when trying to use Google Chrome too which perhaps means it's not an IE specific issue.
Any help is appreciated.
