I have been having trouble with Google redirect. I click on a link, it takes me elsewhere. This occurs very frequently and has been going on for awhile.

I searched for how to fix this. I ran Malwarebytes and ccleaner but it didn't find anything. I looked for TDSSERV.sys in Device Manager but it wasn't there. I unchecked ‘Use a proxy server for your LAN’ but everything was fine there. I ran TDSSKiller but it didn't find anything.

I have Windows Vista and my antivirus is Avira Antivir Premium with Windows Firewall and Defender. I tried installing Microsoft Security Essentials (and uninstalling Avira) because I thought it might find something helpful. Instead, MSE wouldn’t run, so I uninstalled it and put Avira back on.

I followed your posting instructions but when I ran DDS I got a BSOD: Bad_Pool_Caller. But I've attached the GMER document. Thanks!

I no longer need help, thanks. I would have removed this topic but I couldn't find how to do it.
