Hello, everyone I am new, so I am posting this in the wrong section, sorry =(.

Btw SPECS

4 GB RAM
HD 5770
CPU Phenom ii x4 Bhh 3.7 GHZ (over clocked it buewhaha, It was at 3.8 but I lowered it thinking it was causing the BSOD..but it was not)
Windows 7

I have some issues.

Well I was doing some research on the redirecting thing, I read on to get HijackThis....though I hear you have to be-careful what you get rid of lol....so ill copy and paste what it found, and maybe you guys can help me with it (ill post it when Im done).

When I came home, I got the blue screen of death about three times, I used CCleaner thinking its the register (Because some error, bn2b8.dll I believe, googled it..nothing)....I use Avira AntiVir because it was free lol.

I know its not an over heating issue *for the bsod* because all of the temps are all good and fine, even when its active and such what :D.

I recently built this PC in late August, and I really love it, so I hope I can solve all of this..I do ...a lot of downloads, though I watch it, I got rid of a lot of stuff.

Doing a scan right now..with the Avira..getting a few virus alerts, and got rid of them.

I also did Command > sfc/scannow > And I got Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. It told me to go to CBS and I did..but I have no idea what to do from there, I went to the CBS log but I could not understand any of it =/

And I also cant really do a recovery on my PC because it said it was disabled by the Admin? I dunno how... I never disabled it lol....and if I did able it now, I heard it wouldn't do any good because it would not get rid of the problems from before.

Here is the Hijacking log (It told me to join the forums to post the log, and ask for help)

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer :welcome:

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

If you have not done so, include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Upon completing the steps below another staff member will review your topic an do their best to resolve your issues.

If you have already posted a DDS log, please do so again, as your situation may have changed.
Use the 'Add Reply' and add the new log to this thread.

Thanks and again sorry for the delay.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Information on A/V control HERE

We also need a new log from the GMER anti-rootkit scanner. Please first disable any CD emulation programs using the steps found in this topic:

Why we request you disable CD Emulation when receiving Malware Removal Advice

Then create another GMER log and post it as an attachment to the reply where you post your new DDS log. Instructions on how to properly create a GMER log can be found here:

How to create a GMER log

Regards,
Georgi :hello:
