I will be getting a new computer this weekend. After many years of getting to know Windows XP Home-SP2, I'm taking the plunge to move on to Windows 7. The business I am getting the new system from stated Windows 7 doesn't like Thunderbird! Something about the two competing with each other?

I know I have a lot to learn with a new operating system, but I am counting on being able to use Thunderbird as I have with XP.

Any feedback is most appreciated.
Thank you

Windows 7 says Thunderbird is compatible.
Thunderbird says they have a new version out.
